If you thought 'Harry' was a weird name for a wizard, then wait until you meet Simon the Sorcerer. He's the main character in this rather enchanting game called Abracadabra.
Playing as Simon, the aim of Abracadabra is to navigate the levels using your trusty wand. Along the way, you'll need to smash through bricks, jump obstacles, create potions to defeat evil monsters, and you'll even meet a fairy who takes you shopping.
The controls in Abracadabra are pretty straightforward, as is the gameplay itself. The opening levels contain text that explains what you need to be doing, although you'll pick things up pretty quickly anyway - it's just a case of jumping things, throwing things, or smashing things. Despite being a bit easy, Abracadabra is a whole lot of fun and it's the sort of game that you'll be glued to for hours at a time.
Unfortunately the graphics in Abracadabra are a little small and it's difficult to figure out any detail on them. The cute sound effects and mariachi-style music are great though.
If you're looking for a fun puzzle game that's not too challenging, Abracadabra is a spell-binding choice.
